The sea view from the double room offers a fantastic ambiance, and the proximity to the coast makes it a perfect stay for beach lovers. Unique entrance with 'WH' engraved on the steps adds a touch of character.
Finding the hotel is a bit tricky due to a lack of prominent signage, blending into the row of windows. The bed in my double room was uncomfortably hard—definitely not what I'd call restful. While the bathroom setup is typical, a tub chair or any extra seating would have made the room feel cozier. the distinct curry smell wafting through the middle of the hotel was off-putting, and breakfast items like cold baked beans and snotty eggs missed the mark.

The seaside location offers lovely views that can brighten your morning. The common area has a bit of charm, making it pleasant to relax after a day out.
The hotel feels quite worn-down and basic, desperately needing a refurbishment. The room I stayed in was poorly cluttered, with mismatched lamps and small TV awkwardly placed on the fireplace. The shower facilities were frustratingly cramped, lacking grab rails and making entry challenging. With no bar or restaurant on-site, you’re left searching elsewhere for a drink or a meal. The parking situation is a bit ridiculous at £6 per day with the hassle of needing a cone for re-parking. For £235 over two nights, it doesn’t quite match the value for basic lodging offered here.
